Remedial Massage Forms

Remedial Massage may take many forms depending on the problems requiring therapist attention:

Deep Tissue / Sport Massage. A set of techniques involving manipulation of superficial and deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue using various techniques.

Mayofascial Release. Mayofascial techniques are based on applying gentle pressure and stretching of facial tissues of certain parts of the body. The practitioners have to hold on to the pressure for 3-5 minutes to achieve the desired reaction of the body.

Carnio-Sacral Therapy. The carnio sacral system is the core system in the human body and includes head, spine and sacrum but is not limited to those areas. Any abnormalities in the structure of or function of this system will have profound effect on the entire human body. The therapist will apply gentle pressure and stretching to vital areas on clients body to achieve a better alignment of Carnio-Sacral System.

Lymphatic Drainage. Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle whole body treatment that relaxes the nervous system and aids the body’s immune system. It is highly recommended to bust immune system especially for those prone to sore throats, colds, infections, on-going tiredness, excess fluid and low immunity. It is highly recommended for people who are less physically active.
